I thought about the Air, especially considering I'll be buying an SSD to replace the HDD in the MBP, however the 4GB of RAM and the older Core 2 Duo processors kinda scared me away. Now if the MBA has a refresh before we get back in July I'll definitely look into it...
As was your +1 for the $1199 13" or $1499 13"
Aaron
The updated Air may be available around the time you get back home, so that might be an option to consider.
And thank you for serving. It is appreciated and I wish you a safe trip back home.

Problem is the fans on this model are on the base, try keeping it off the floor
This happens on my MBP too with little else running. Skype really is probably the problem.

Yeah there is a major problem with backlit wireless keyboards: The batteries aren't going to last for months anymore, are they? Where is all that power for the lights going to come from?

I'm trying to fix 5 year old Macbook for some one .The problem is hard-drive space used up but the person has very little pictures ,music and work on the computer.
Some how only 7GB free of the 80GB hard-drive.
There is a similar thread http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=672477
Thread never got resolved.
well normally when I'm trying fix the same problem on PC running windows it is do to.
1.Bad sector
2.swap file /page file
3.hidden OS system support files
4.malware
5.windows files to keep OS running and windows needs lots of files and I mean lots, lots and lots of files!!!
But do not have that much experience here. What could the problem be.
I would try emptying all of the caches first (I once reclaimed 50 gb doing this!). There are freeware tools such as Onyx that will do this for you.
You could also use a tool like diskinventory to identify any large swap files that might be hanging around.

Apple.com search reveals PowerBook G5 appears in article posted on Apple.com (http://www.apple.com/education/hed/academia/creative/architecture.html)...
Late april fools I think. Looks like a typo. Maybe the writer had G5 on the brain?
I don't see it.

OK, I can power an FW400 drive from FW800. I think it was my FW400 repeater hub that couldn't be powered.
I imagine an FW800 drive can be powered from FW400, too.

Thanks for the post. I am really interested in a leather case with a front cover.
The site says "preorder." But you have already received the case. So those cases on the site are actually in stock?
Well, when I ordered it, the website did not say "preorder" it just gave the option to order. So I'm not sure if maybe they've since run out of cases? I'm not 100% sure about that.
But yes, I received my case about a week and a half ago.

I think I made an error yesterday by trying to charge the iPad with a 3rd party connector. It charged fine, and this morning I awoke to a 100% charged battery as usual.
Out of curiosity, why did you use a third party charger? I've done it a few times with other devices, but it's always been with quality, branded chargers (like charging my Kindle with my BlackBerry's charger), but I wouldn't dare do that with my iPad unless I knew it was top quality since so many of those third party chargers, like third party batteries, can damage your equipment.
By the way, I think using a third party charger may have voided your warranty anyway. At least on some devices I'm pretty sure it does.

If cost is a issue OWC usually has great deals on their ram and seems to have a great warranty to back it up and will let you trade in old ram to knock the price down even further.
Seen that and it seems like a great deal.
Its worth noting though that if you bring in a computer with aftermarket RAM installed to the GB, you will run into some issues. Unless you REALLY need the extra cash back, id put the original apple RAM in that antistatic bag that the new stuff comes in and stick it somewhere safe in case the need arises.
Just a thought....

I only had a few minutes this morning to look at this but I believe the main problem is your not calling the "mail" command. You have this line but it's not doing anything as it's just a variable...
$success = mail($webMaster, $emailSubject, $body, $headers);
If you just use this it should work...
mail($webMaster, $emailSubject, $body, $headers);
You may have other things to work out but this should send the email massage and you should be able to retrieve it at info@avenue19ni.com.

As long as the better iPhone's price does not exceed $299 for the highest version, I don't care.

....i still need more concrete clarification on whether to trademark or copyright the logo for my company..)
Do you understand that you already own the copyright for your logo design?
Registering the copyright is both cheap and easy so it's worth doing as it does give you some additional leverage in protecting your rights as the owner of the copyright.

I heard that the Special Red Edition iPhone 3G Pro will be released soon, if so, will it be 16GB or 32GB? Or, it will have both formats? Will you get this special version instead of a black or white one?
No, love.
"Special Red Edition iPhone 3G Pro".
So, other than a colour change, what makes it Pro?

also, for a pro app, soundtrack is much faster than garage band. you can tell that it was very poorly written. i hope gb2 will be much better in terms of speed. 2.5 more hours... longest of my life

Ah, Ok. It's a .mov file. That sounds suspiciously Mac friendly. I presume .avi might be better?
