But on a serious note, I think It could be this. My wife is currently on an h4 visa and has applied for her I-485, I-765 and I-131 with me.
She had an EAD when she was on L2, when I was on L1 before switching to H1.
When we applied for her I-765, lawyer suggested we select Renewal of EAD option for my wife bcoz she already has an EAD and there is no need for a new EAD now.
May be that is why they may be waiving the fee ?? I don't know....my guess

Thanks MC thats a valid Point.
There are 2 reasons that I thought of for not applying / renewing.
1) I'm not planning on going anywhere after / atleast for a year.
2) My wife's AP filed last year took Six months to get approved and what happens if you fly out while your AP is pending / sent for renewal. I read in this forum, not fly out, while you AP is pending.

If I were you, I would still renew the AP and keep it handy as your PD is still a couple of years away before becoming current. There will be no issues with a new AP pending as long as you have an approved AP in hand for the travel.

My wife was on H4 earlier and then she coverted her visa into F1 (student). She got I 20 form from school with her, But She doesn't have F1 stamp on her Indian Passport. She got 2 hour halt in Paris.
Does she need French transit visa ??

In both cases, there was no need for any transit visa. As a general rule, you need a visa only if you are leaving the airport at the stopover Hub.

I need your input.
My PD was Feb 2006-EB2.
I changed job on June 22nd to another company using EAD. Now the PD has become current for Aug.My old company and the new company are in different cities but it is the same state.
I was planning to apply for AC-21 but i have not gotten consistent pay checks yet. My first check was a partial check. I will have 2 consistent paychecks by Aug 15th.

I am thinking since the job change is very recent they might not know about this job change.
Its not mandatory to file AC21. If at all any RFE for EVL, you can respond at that time with your new job info.

My understanding is, till your MTR is approved, you cannot work. Ofcourse, this applies only if you're using EAD based on that i-485. If you're still on H1/other visa or using EAD based on some other I-485, this wont apply to you.

If you reappeal I think until the decision comes you are okay. But I'm
not sure if you can work. Need to check with an attorney.
If your job description need to match the degree you should be fine.
Did you submit a credential evaluation? I think if both of the above
things are okay, you should be through.
If I were you I will contact an attorney, like Sheela or Rajiv who
knows what they are doing.

While listing the house the seller signs an agreement with the agent that they would go thru that agent. So directly dealing with the seller may not be an option. Now, there are home selling agencies who charges a fixed amount ($3000). And some times the seller tries to sell the house directly; in that case they would not be able to list the house in the MLS. Hence many sellers do not go this route.
and the seller basically prices it into the sale price... which why when buying next time .. i would ask to deal with the seller directly.. get an attorney to do the paperwork and diligence for $600 and ask the seller to keep 1% and give me a 5% discount.lil leg work and you save like 25k on 500k house.

For parents I am not comfortable with the statement "and that________father�s name) is his/her father and _____________ (mother�s name) is his/her mother."
So just dig a little and there were members who have posted the sample for parents and close relative.

Ask your lawyer. I agree, be proactive and if there is a way you can send the results and file it with your case, do it. Any case medicals are valid for 12-18 months, so if an RFE comes, You can send them same ones again. Again, not sure if you can do this, ask your lawyer.

I am in the same boat. I believe you can go ahead and start your full time study, Now I don't think your wife's case is pending based on your work, since you already got your GC.
Even in the worst case you can sponsor your wife with your GC status. I was kidding my wife that I become UC and sponsor her.

In order to avail the deal, I need to "move-in" by 05.05.2009. So my lease at the new place will start on 05.05.2009.
Due some reasons, I cannot physically into the apartment till 05.16.2009. I will still be in my old apartment until then.
So when do I need to file an AR-11 form, by 05.15.2009 (10 days after my lease starts) OR 05.26.2009 (10 days after which I am physically in the new apartment)?
IMO you need to fill AR11 only once you vacate your old apartment. If you want file AR11 earlier, you can do it. Since you own(rent) both apartments till 05.16.2009 you can retain your old address till 05.16.2009 and file AR11 before 05.26.2009.
After filing AR11, call USCIS customer service to verify the address change. (Don't misuse infopass for such basic stuff).

Me and my wife are traveling to India. We are going for visa re-stamping (consular processing).
Based on the information provided below, can you provide lists of forms/docs that we're supposed to carry with us when we visit the consulate for stamping?

I am in the same boat as you. My EAD expires on Sept 12th. Still no response from NSC center. I have few friends that I know, who filed after I did and they all have recieved their EADs. Not sure whats going on.
I would suggest you call uscis and place a request to expedite or call the congressman in your area to help expedite. I did place an expedite request and fortunately within 5 days from placing the expedite request my status changed from initial review to CPO
